The Shape of Sound

Looking at this video, I feel like Richarrd Dreyfus from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I feel the need to poke this video with a salad fork and say, “This means something. This is important.”

  1. Amazing. I agree with you about its potential meaning. Most interesting to me, however, is that there seem to be distinct moments of change rather than constant alteration. For some reason, I would expect that each slight variation in sound would create a new shape, but instead the shapes change at fixed intervals during the constant change.

    That, or they only did periodic changes and I have no ear for this kind of thing. But I think the change was constant, not in intervals.
