Artie Lange Defocates on Joe Buck Show

I want you Meppers to know that this video was incredibly difficult to find. HBO has been on a censorship rampage in trying to shield Buck from the humiliation of having his first talk show railroaded by the longtime Howard Stern co-host.

This was amazing to see live. You could tell that Lange was at least half in the bag, and that Buck had neither the charm, nor skill to stop him. To be fair, Buck was a particularly useless talk show host. He isn’t witty, engaging, or even particularly interesting. He has a job because he inherited his father’s pipes. That’s about it. I don’t think we’ll be seeing him in Bob Costas’ seat again.

  1. I saw the show. I have no idea why Artie Lang, or the 2 guys with him, were invited by Joe Buck. They have no inside knowledge of sports. I did think Lang was funny even though it was at the expense of gays. Buck was completely unprepared for the segment. In fact, the whole show was a dud. Michael Irvin was there to analyize ‘Ocho Cinco’. Dr. Irvin was absurd, and 85 claimed he doesn’t try to draw special attention by his actions. Right — neither does Madonna or Paris Hilton.

I’m relatively convinced this was a publicity stunt.

How else are you going to get everyone to tune in to watch Joe Buck next time?

And why else would such a crass comedian appear next to Joe Buck’s high school friend on his show?
